In China, renting a house involves several steps: searching for a house, viewing the house, signing the lease, and moving in. When searching for a house or a apartment, you can either consult a real estate agency for assistance or look for rentals directly on a rental APP. Once you've found a suitable place, you can visit the house together with the real estate agent. If you're satisfied with what you see, it's time to sign the lease. When signing, be sure to carefully review the amounts for rent, deposit, and agency fee. Typically, the arrangement in China is "one month's deposit and three months' rent upfront," which means paying an additional month's rent as a deposit and then paying three months' rent in advance. At the same time, pay attention to the breach of contract clauses to avoid any losses.

在中国租房，要经历找房、看房、签约和入住。找房的时候，你可以去房屋中介公司找中介咨询，也可以直接在租房APP上自己找房。找到合适的房子以后，可以和房屋中介一起去房子里看看。如果觉得满意，就可以签约了。签约的时候，一定要看清楚租金、押金和中介费的金额，一般是“押一付三”，也就是多付一个月的租金作为押金，再一次性付清三个月的租金。同时，也要主要违约条款，避免损失。
